What we're studying:
As a group, we are studying the physics of the interactions between objects and the way small interactions can develop into a big result.

Why we think we should win:
Our Rube project is unique. Our theme “Rube at the Zoo” is noticeable throughout the entire project, as each step correlates to a day at the zoo. Furthermore, we created unique steps and embedded them into the project. These steps include (in the order they appear in the project) a string that releases a ball onto ramps, a pulley from the bottom of the project to the top, and a zip line.

Suggestion for next year's challenge:
An interesting challenge would be opening a bag of chips.

Our machine, Rube at the Zoo, tells the story of a family's wild adventures on a weekend trip to the zoo. Complete with fun animals and exhibits, the Miller family enjoys their outing. Unfortunately, they end their trip at the first aid center to receive a bandage. Through our machine, you will follow the Miller's journey and see a bandage applied at the end!
