Our Team Leader's favorite quote:
"Stop fooling around and get to work!" He says this because most of the time we don't get along and Mr. I gets us back to where we should be.
We are the 5th graders of Mineola Middle School. Our machine has a fairy tale theme. Using incline planes and magnets, we made a simple but well-working Rube Goldberg to pour a bowl of cereal. We have the spirit that we can do this, also known as "Growth Mindset." We have an excellent leader named Mr. Interrante. We have plenty of fun, while also sometimes being serious. Sometimes, people don't get what they want, but everyone gets a vote. We have six members that make up our team, a combination of 3 boys and 3 girls. We came up with many ideas, from the popular play Hamilton to a little idea of our own called "The Battle of Old and New", but finally settled on fairytales.
