Each one of our modules depicts a scene from a different Disney movie. Our technology ranges from low tech (mousetraps, dominoes, weights) to high tech (programmable Raspberry Pi computer).

Scene 1: Mulan

1. A falling star (ball) lands on mousetrap #1
2. Mousetrap #1 springs and tips cup of rice
3. Cup of rice falls through funnel into pot
4. Pot falls and hits switch #1
5. Switch #1 turns on hair dryer (fire) which warms pot of rice
6. String attached to pot springs mousetrap #2
7. Mousetrap #2 pulls string releasing golf club
8. Golf club hits tube releasing marble #1

Scene 2: Monsters Inc.
9. Marble #1 travels down maze and springs mousetrap #3
10. Mousetrap #3 pulls first string which releases Mulan scroll, ending scene 1
11. Mousetrap #3 pulls second string releasing marble #2
12. Marble #2 falls on ramp releasing toy car
13. Toy car falls on end of seesaw
14. Other end of seesaw tips first door of Monsters' factory
15. Doors fall like dominoes and spring mousetrap #4

Scene 3: Cinderella
16. Mousetrap #4 pulls string attached to castle floor (earthquake)
17. Castle floor slides and releases marbles #3
18. Marbles #3 roll down ramp and into chute

Scene 4: Back to the Future
19. Marbles #3 hit mouse trap #5 at bottom of clock tower
20. Mousetrap #5 trips #6 trips #7 trips #8 trips #9
21. Mouse trap #9 springs releasing weight and also advancing clock to midnight

Scene 5: Up
22. Weight falls on switch #2 which turns on candy dispenser motor #1
23. Candy dispenser releases marbles (balloons) #4 which knocks over lever
24. Lever falls on switch #3 which turns on motor #2
25. Motor winds up string which pulls down switch #4

Scene 6: Finding Nemo
26. Switch #4 turns on motor #3
27. Motor #3 winds up string which releases deep-sea diver
28. Diver falls over edge of shelf, pulling Nemo one way and rubber duck the other way
29. Diver falls in front of motion sensor

Scene 7: Cars
30. Motion sensor sends signal to Raspberry Pi computer
31. Computer counts 3-2-1 and turns on transistor
32. Transistor applies power to motor #4
33. Motor #4 turns gears which rotate plate
34. Piston attached to plate pulls erasers back-and-forth
35. Erasers (with help from Lightning McQueen and Mater) erase white board!
