What we're studying:
We have been studying kinematics, forces, vectors and conservation of energy. Our Team Leader's favorite quote:
"If you reach your goals, you didn't set them high enough." JHS Senior Alex Moore (Jesup's own Yogi Berra)Why we think we should win:
Our community and sponsors have really been behind us, asking about the work, etc. We have put a great deal of work into this, learned many things...physics, as well as things about ourselves.
Our theme is breakfast...not just pouring a bowl of cereal, but an entire meal! It all starts with a toaster which begins a series of events that cause the pouring of cereal, the pouring of milk, and boiling an egg. Throughout our machine, you will see our morning theme with the use of lights, music, a hair dryer, food and kitchen utensils...grapes, "oranges", ladles, and a boiling pot among them.
