What we're studying:
We are currently all involved in Project Lead the Way engineering courses. We study the design process and apply it to real world projects. We practice critical thinking and problem solving. We also learn about the importance of simple machines and coding.

Our Team Leader's favorite quote:
Better is possible. It does not take genius it take diligence. It takes ingenuity and above all, it takes a willingness to try.

Why we think we should win:
Our machine is unique and whimsical, with magic enhanced throughout. This machine uses all different types of simple machines and mechanisms that successfully complete the task. Our whole machine relates to Harry Potter, and fun to experience and watch.

Representation of Hogwarts along with the quidditch field and great hall. Our machine consists of pulleys, hydraulics, gears, levers, inclined planes, and a moving staircase. Most steps include aspects of the series such as the snitch, wands, and the magic that occurs inside the castle.

3 Snitch ball rolls down tube, hits clothespin

5 Weight falls down tube, pushes syringe
6 Hydraulics, other syringe pushes down on button on car

9 Wands come out of under trap door
10 Trap door releases marbles, marbles roll down tube
