What we're studying:
Simple Machines. Our Team Leader's favorite quote:
"Be tough, yet gentle; humble, yet bold; swayed by beauty and truth"
~Bob PiehWhy we think we should win:
We should win because the students came up with the idea and we spent a lot of class time working on this together. We also applied our knowledge of simple machines to accomplish a real life goal. Using only materials available to us in the classroom, we were very creative.Suggestion for next year's challenge:
~Pushing in a chair
~Make a peanut and jelly sandwhich
~Close a door/book
~Turn a page in a book
~Ring a bell
~Crack an egg
We are 8th graders from River Trail Middle School. Being in Miss Rioux's 8th grade tag science class, we got the oppertunity to take part in the Rube Goldberg Competition. We had a lot of fun working on the project!
