What we're studying:
We are currently studying physics: Newton's Laws, speed, velocity, acceleration. Our Team Leader's favorite quote:
Learn it you will, Teach it I shallWhy we think we should win:
We have only had 7 build days. Our machine is built with all recycled material, things we have found either at school or at home. Our story is creative and funny about a farmer trying to get his crops to market so we can have CEREAL!Suggestion for next year's challenge:
Turning a page in a bookFavorite Rube Goldberg video:
Our machine describes the morning of a farmer who is trying to get his crops to market so we can have CEREAL for breakfast! He runs into some trouble during his trip.
“Old Macdonald was driving on the highway, and soon highway turned into his driveway. His appearance cued the gate’s opening, and he entered to drive past his fence posts. To his side, a tractor was being driven into a stack of hay, which exploded into an eggcellent confetti! (Hay, isn’t that pretty cool?) At the conhayti, the horses become eggcited and run into the field. The chickens become eggstremely surprised at the horses, and their eggs fall one by one as they eggscape. A single egg rolls into a windmill, turning it on and eggsploding a box of cereal to feed all the hungry animals of the farm. (They sure cracked up an eggmazing breakfast!)”
