What we're studying:
Organic Chemistry and Advanced Physics

Our Rube is an arcade theme and each step is designed to be a different arcade game. We use various items such as bearing balls, magnets, catapults, hinges, nerf gun, and other materials.

Our Step List

.A coin is placed into a slot and rolls down tubes into a bucket
.The bucket pulls the door open
.The door releases the ball and the ball falls into the bucket.
.The bucket then triggers another barring ball to roll down the ramp
.The ball flies into the skee-ball hole and enters a tunnel
.A magnet is triggered in order to roll into the fish bowl
.A fish is magnetically attracted to the ball and triggers a door to open
.The door opening causes a weight to be dropped which fires a nerf gun
.The bullet hits the target and pulls a string down and lowers a pair of scissors
.The scissors drop a ball and knock a weight down
.The weight rolls into a catapult
.The catapult launches a ball into a basketball hoop
.The ball rolls through the hoop and hits a magnet gun
.The magnet gun knocks a board into a balloon and pops it
.The balloon drops marbles down a tube and hits a wooden triangle
.The triangle releases a hammer to flip a switch
.The switch turns off a magnet
.The magnet releases and drops a jar of sand and hits a basketball
.The basketball pushes an air cannon to shoot a tennis ball
.The tennis ball hits a red ball that goes down onto a canvas
.A whiffle ball then hits a barring ball into Pac-man and goes through a tube to pinball machine
.A barring ball travels down the pinball machine and crashes into another barring ball.
.The ball travels down the tubes and knocks over wooden “dominoes”
.The last wooden domino hits a small bearing ball, forcing it to travel down the stairs and through Q-Bert
.The small ball pulls the magnet, dropping the hammer and triggers the weights to send Mario across a zip line
.Simultaneously, a bouncy ball is dropped into the ball drop machine
.Mario hits a piece of cardboard which releases a toy car
.The car goes down a track and crashes into a checkered block, finish line
.The checkered block knocks down a series of mushrooms on hinges
.Mushrooms knock over green tube, sending bearing ball into a coin pusher
.The bearing ball rolls down the track and knocks a weight off the end
.Weight pulls coin pusher forward, knocking a bearing ball off
33. The bearing ball rolls through a tube and into a cup pulling a wooden block to release a magnet
34. The magnet rolls down copper tube which produces eddy currents to slow it down
35. Magnet pushes the coin into the piggy bank
