    What we're studying:
    Principles of Engineering. We work daily to develop our problem solving skills as well as team-working abilities. Science Technology Engineering & Mathematics

    Why we think we should win:
    We used recyclable materials. We worked on a limited time table of 45 minutes a day for nine weeks. We had to rebuild our machine everyday and break it down at the end of every class. We have overcome the challenges of limited time, conflicting schedules, and diverse personalities to complete this project. Students were forced to use their creativity to solve problems and enjoyed every minute of it!!!!!

    Suggestion for next year's challenge:
    make a bowl of cereal with milk, brush someones hair while they sleep, apply lipstick without using your hands

    How to blow up and pop a balloon with minimal human input : A)Drop marble B)Marble goes down spiral and through the track to hit a domino C)Dominoes fall D)A fallen domino pulls string which pulls CD loose E) Marble is released down inclined plane F) Marble goes through funnel G) Marble goes through clear tubes to knock over wooden plank H) Wooden plank hits mouse-trap to knock over wooden stick I) the weight connected to the pulley is released J) the ruler is hit to knock over more dominoes K) Ball spirals down recycled bottle top until it falls out the bottom L) Car is knocked down the inclined plane M) Dominoes are knocked down N) The second pulley is released to drop marble down tube O) Marble comes out on board and goes down hole to knock over dominoes P) Dominoes hit wooden plank causing it to spin to hit dominoes on opposite side Q) Wheel falls off table to pull dominoes R) Domino falls to hit mousetrap which starts the wooden planks falling S) Wooden wheel is released down inclined plane T) activating a pulley system causing a lever to raise U) deploying ball bearings onto a half pipe where they encounter a V) car sitting on blocks the ball bearings cause the car to roll forward down the shoot where it activates another W) pulley system attached to a deflated balloon filled with seven Mentos candies attached to a two liter bottle of diet soda. The X) pulley raises the balloon sending the candies into the soda causing a Y) chemical reaction inflating the balloon only to have it meet up with several sharp Z) needles attached to a wooden board. POP goes the BALLOON
