Our Team Leader's favorite quote:
Sometimes a loss is the best thing that can happen. It teaches you what you should have done next time.

Why we think we should win:
Because we are using the principles of the Engineering Design Cycle to design and redesigns the machine if necessary.

Suggestion for next year's challenge:
Set a mouse trap.

Mike wakes up early in the morning so he has time to eat and be on his way. As he is walking towards the kitchen to get some cereal he accidentally knocks over one of the domino games he and his friends were using for their tournament. The dominos cause a chain reaction and they result in the tinker toys, that he told his kids to put away last night, to move and hit the other game of dominos. Mike’s prized car collection gets bumped and falls off the shelf and hits his golf ball signed by tiger woods. The prized golf ball continues to roll and hit more of his dominos. A mouse that was still up from his game of Parcheesi runs away but still sets off the trap. The trap sets in motion an old tick tock clock. This ends up pushing some of mike’s duct tape that he uses to tape down valuable objects so that his kids cant knock them over. The tape rolls down a ramp that triggers a lever and triggers one of the kids marbles out of their collection. This sets off another mouse trap that was set to catch Jerry. The trap is connected to a spiderweb and as it gets triggered it pulls the web down releasing the marble trapped in it. The marble escapes out of the web running down the tracks until it rolls and causes a wheel and chain to rotate allowing it to fall into a funnel. The funnel directs the marble onto a track that then hits more of Mikes domino games. This sets off another old dusty webbed up mouse trap that pulls a box of cereal. Mike doesn't know what happened, but he does know he got a bowl of cereal poured just by walking with his eyes closed.
