What we're studying:
Most of the team are enrolled in PLTW classes at Batesville High School. In these classes we are learning about the principles and design involved in engineering. As a team, we are applying these key engineering concepts to come up with a brilliant Rube Goldberg machine.

Our Team Leader's favorite quote:
"'it's fine' 'it's fine?' 'it's fine'"

Why we think we should win:
Our team has spent months on developing a complicated, yet very fun Rube Goldberg machine. We have spent hundreds of hours planning, building and testing our machine. We would absolutely love the opportunity to take our magnificent machine to the national competition to compete against the best machines in the country.

Suggestion for next year's challenge:
unscrew a jar

Favorite Rube Goldberg video:

When the shortage of a space age power source threatens the sustainability of a futuristic space colony known as The Citadel of Goldbergs, the crew piloting the ship must take drastic action to find a new power source and preserve peace among the society that lives there. The news of the new power source called "Rings of Saturn" provokes the citadel's crew to travel to the farthest reaches of the galaxy and face many dangers and obstacles to retrieve the power source. This grand adventure will test the crew's bravery, critical thinking, and problem solving skills as they attempt to save the citadel and the society it contains.
