What we're studying:
We are studying force and motion in science and how to write a creative storing in English. Rube Goldberg in perfect because it incorporates both of these things! :)Our Team Leader's favorite quote:
"I think it is possible for ordinary people to choose to be extraordinary." -Elon MuskWhy we think we should win:
We should win because we have worked really hard with very limited time. Our team has also hit a lot of bumps along the way to get where we are. Suggestion for next year's challenge:
Next year, we should have to put toothpaste on a toothbrush. :)
Our machine will help a person with a disability poor a bowl of cereal.
Our Step List
First, a ball rolls down a ramp.
It then hits another ball

The block falls and pulls a string.
The string pulls on a cup to make it fall and another ball rolls out down another ramp.
This ball hits a metal grate that releases two wrecking balls
The two wrecking balls fall and hit two balls that travel on different paths
the first path ball hits a marble that then sets off the first mousetrap
the first mouse trap pulls down the first weight
the second ball has a marble that then meets up with another marble
the second marble makes its way down to hit the second mousetrap
the second mousetrap pulls down the second weight
the weights pull on a pulley system that makes a cup release a ball
the ball rolls down a ramp to hit a block
the block pulls on the bottom of a cup releasing multiple marbles down a funneled ramp.
This hits a ball that rolls down to hit another ball
